Getting Netflix/Amazon to work on 32-bit Ubuntu 16.04

Open Terminal (CONTROL + ALT + T)

Type these into the terminal one line at a time:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pipelight/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ehoover/compholio
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine-staging
sudo apt-get install pipelight-multi
sudo pipelight-plugin –enable silverlight

Then install the Firefox add-on:

(UAControl – neko.tsugumi.org) <– Click this link, find install and install

Click UAControl Options, add two sites: netflix.com, movies.netflix.com and click action > custom, and add this line to both:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:23.0) Gecko/20131011 Firefox/23.0

Make sure UAControl is enabled and you’re done! Netflix should work!

FOR AMAZON:

First download the .deb file: click here

Type these into the terminal:

cd Downloads

sudo dpkg -i chrome.deb

sudo apt-get -f install

Now use windows Chrome for Amazon.
